In July 2023, the filmmaker happens upon the Alista Hotel in Dadap Village, Jakarta. Unable to find a taxi during the evening high tide, they stay briefly, yet the image of the place lingers and draws them back in 2025. They meet "Boy," who manages and guards the fading hotel. Tracing the bond between place and person, and memories each holds, the film attends to the singular time and vitality of a site nearing disappearance.
