According to legend, during the early years of the Ming Dynasty, General Chang Yuchun headed north with his army and established a campsite that later became known as "Chang Ying." Several hundred years later, a group of young people also stationed there, dreaming of becoming directors, screenwriters, actors, producers, and more. Among them were two screenwriters, Zhang Liao and Sun Tan. They wrote a movie script that they believed would go down in history and were determined to bring it to the big screen.

Sofía visits her brother Martín, a photographer obsessed with photographing the same seaside shack for years, always from the same angle and at the same time of day. To her, the photographs are repetitive and meaningless. To Martín, each image captures something that remains hidden from plain sight. But as she goes through the albums, Sofía discovers something impossible: their mother appears in photographs taken after her death. As the images progress, her presence becomes increasingly closer, as if she were approaching from the other side of the lens. What begins as a visit between siblings turns into a disturbing discovery about memory, loss, and the things that refuse to disappear.
